How do I pre-register for classes?
We recommend that you pre-register for yoga classes, however we also welcome walk-ins to most classes. The easiest way to register is through our Darling Yoga app which can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play. If you sign up online, please be sure to come to the front desk when you arrive for class so we can officially check you in.
How do I redeem my Groupon?
Redeem your Groupon by taking your first class. Groupons must be redeemed in person or you can contact us before class. Please note that our Groupon is for new students only or those who have not visited our studio for at least one year. We only allow one introductory offer per student, therefore if you use a Groupon, you will not be eligible for our New Student Special, and vice versa. Groupons cannot be combined with any other discounts. Have an expired Groupon? If the date on your Groupon is expired, you can redeem it for it's face value like cash.
I'm a beginner. Which class is best for me?
Our Yoga Basics class is typically recommended for beginners but this varies based on the individual. For those looking for a more gentle experience, Relax and Restore and Meditate and Breathe are great options. For those with significant mobility or joint restrictions, we may recommend Chair Yoga to start. New to yoga, but in good physical shape? Feel free to try out our Flow or Yin Yoga classes. We're here to help you navigate these options and find the best class. See our Class Descriptions here or feel free to contact us for assistance!
What time should I show up for class?
We recommend showing up 10-15 minutes ahead of the class start time if possible. Be aware that the studio is sometimes locked during classes at times when the entry is unattended. It is important to try to make it on time for this reason. We do allow a 5 minute grace period before locking the door for your convenience especially during rush hour.
How will I know if a class is cancelled?
Classes may be cancelled or modified due to weather, a holiday, or to accommodate a special event or our monthly teacher training program. For this reason, we recommend that you check our live class schedule before heading to class. The easiest way to do this is through our branded app which can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play.
Can I bring a friend or family member to class with me?
We appreciate your referrals! We offer one free guest pass every six months for our 12-Month Auto Renew and Annual Pass members. Spouses and live-in partners may also share a 10-Class pack. Kid's yoga packages are sharable with siblings only, please.
What if I need to leave the class early?
Please plan to stay for the entire class if possible. Remember, savasana is the most important pose! If you must leave early, please inform the instructor before class and exit the room quietly when you go.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothing for yoga that you can easily move in. Typically yoga pants, leggings or long shorts are preferred. You will be barefoot in class but may choose to wear socks in our Restorative and Yin classes. In the winter months it is advised to wear layers for warmth.
What equipment do I need to bring? Do you have loaner mats?
You will need a yoga mat, but we have plenty of free loaners. We do suggest that you purchase your own mat if you plan to attend class regularly. We sell Jade, Gaiam Dry Grip and Kid’s Yoga mats in a variety of styles and colors in our boutique.
Do you offer a trial package for new students?
Yes, we offer a two week introductory package that you can use one time at your first visit to the studio. This allows you to try various class types and teachers to see which is right for you. See all Pricing Options Here.
Why do class packages expire?
