Studio Etiquette

Arrival & Punctuality

Arrive Early: Please arrive 5–30 minutes before class. Doors are locked when class starts, and late entry may not be permitted.

Stay for the Entire Class: If you must leave early, inform your teacher before class and exit before final relaxation to avoid disruption.

Electronics Policy

Phones & Devices: Phones are not permitted in the practice rooms. Store in the lobby or restroom. If special circumstances require you to keep your device nearby, it must be on silent and set to vibrate mode.

Studio Environment

Shoes Off: Please remove shoes before entering practice rooms. 

Quiet Space: Keep voices low to support a calm and peaceful setting.

Make Room: Stagger mats and be willing to adjust your space for others.

Hygiene & Attire

Cleanliness: Come to class clean and free of strong body odors or fragrances.

Clothing: Wear comfortable, movement-appropriate clothing. Ensure your clothing allows for safe and respectful practice. 

Props & Equipment

Mats: Bring your own mat if possible. Studio mats are available for use—please wipe down after class.

Props: Bolsters, blocks, blankets, eye pillows, and sandbags are provided. Please return all props neatly after use.

Conduct & Behavior

Respect: No disruptive behavior, vulgar language, or intoxication.

Zero Tolerance: Harassment or assault of any kind will result in immediate removal.

No Commercial Activity: Students may not solicit or teach others while using the studio space.

Liability Waiver

All students must read and agree to the Darling Yoga Liability Waiver before attending any group, private, or semi-private class or event.

Media & Photo Release

By participating in classes or events at Darling Yoga, you agree that your image may be captured in photos or video for studio-related promotional purposes, including marketing materials and social media.

Class Packs

​Class Packs are a group of classes purchased together with a common expiration date, typically discounted from the drop-in price. For example, 10 Class Pack.

  1. Packs expire based on the date of your first use, not purchase date.

  2. Please track expiration and book in advance to ensure full use.

  3. Class packs are non-transferable and may not be shared. Exception allowed for Kids’ Packs, which may be shared among siblings.

  4. For extensions due to major life changes or extenuating circumstances, email info@darlingyoga.com.$25 extension fee applies.

Memberships

Auto Renew Memberships

Certain memberships auto-renew monthly. Please read the details of your subscription carefully. By purchasing, you agree to the following.

Membership starts on your sign-up date and charges recur monthly.

After the minimum commitment period (varies by plan), your membership continues monthly until canceled or paused.

All charges are non-refundable, regardless of attendance.

$30 fee for returned payments. Darling Yoga is not responsible for overdraft or bank charges.

Freeze Policy: You may pause your membership for up to 3 billing cycles per calendar year. Email info@darlingyoga.com to request.

Confirm all membership changes with the studio in writing. No refunds without proof of confirmation.

Membership prices may change. You’ll receive 30 days' email notice prior to any changes.

Schedules are subject to change. In the event of extreme weather or emergencies, please check the class schedule for the most up-to-date information.

​Memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable.

Membership Cancellations

Cancellation After Minimum Commitment:  You may cancel your membership at any time after completing the required commitment period by submitting a written request via:

  • Once your request is received and approved, your membership will be canceled 30 days from the date of notice. Any payments due within that 30-day window remain your responsibility.


Cancellation Within 3 Business Days of SignupYou may cancel your membership within 3 business days of initial membership sign-up and receive a full refund in the form of studio credit. This credit can be used toward any class pass, membership, or retail purchase. 

Early Cancellation: If you wish to cancel before completing your initial commitment period, a $150 early termination fee will apply, unless one of the following exceptions is met:

  • Permanent disability or death (documentation required), or

  • Relocation of more than 20 miles from the studio (proof required — such as a new driver’s license, lease, or utility bill)


All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing with at least 30 days’ notice via email or the contact form.

Legal

All disputes (excluding claims under $1,000) will be resolved via binding arbitration under the Federal Arbitration Act and AAA rules.

  • Arbitration will take place in the county where the studio is located unless otherwise agreed upon.

  • Disputes must be resolved individually. Class or collective actions are not permitted.

  • The arbitrator’s reasoned award is final and enforceable in court. Appeals follow AAA's Appellate Arbitration Rules.

  • If the studio must involve legal counsel due to a breach, it may recover all legal costs and reasonable attorney’s fees.

  • This document replaces all prior agreements or discussions, whether oral or written.

  • No changes are valid unless made in writing and signed by both parties.

  • You authorize the studio and its designees to contact you via email, phone, or other means provided upon registration or update.

  • Policies may be updated without notice. The most current version is available at the studio or on our website
